Reflection on Module 2. Instructional Design Models


Among the four models introduced, ADDIE Model is effective according to the speaker based on their experience. I believe also that it is, because of the principle that we have to know our audience/learners first before we can teach them and make them learn. We have to know their needs, level and capacity. After knowing the learners, comes the design that will best suit to their interest. Production of materials and other things that are needed in the process of learning is important because this is where learners are motivated. Implementation or working your plan is of course the basic step to attain the goal. Evaluation is the last to determine what is to be revised.

Pedagogical Perspectives on the role of technology in Education

Technology serves as a powerful tool to enhance teaching-learning process. It amplifies the traditional way of teaching. Teaching is more comfortable and easy, for it helps to motivate, to make learning meaningful to learners. It can keep the teacher and pupils not to be left behind in this modern world of technology.
